HONOUR

1 Timothy 5:17 [KJV] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Glorious things are spoken of you holy saints of God, holy? Yes, sounds heavy for one with weaknesses and failures like you? Does it mean I am undefiled? You know better than anyone! That wouldn't be you by a mile.

But there is great news, be holy as I am holy, says the Lord. This indicates that you decide to be holy as he is. It's not a power from without that is christened on you after years of hard Christian living.

To be holy is to be SET APART FOR THE MASTER'S USE. Can you really decide that? Emphatically yes. Is it possible to determine within that, you are going to be ready for divine purpose and use? Yes you can.

We are once again in a special time emphasised by the holy spirit a few years ago when he intended to bring back honour in his house by Prophet Elvis Mbonye.

This long watered down way of God is a deep benchmark for the workings of the holy ghost in the church and certainly in our midst.

I pray that this finds your heart unfazed and unhardened by the issues of life because these have been satan's weapon against the workings of the Spirit amongst the church of the Lord Jesus.

A hardened heart if not checked quickly grows weary of finding he who is life and light.

One who is a true seeker will find himself shrouded by tests and trials daily, but the love for Jesus my friends will get you through.

A hardened heart is dangerous for your walk in salvation. Notice that satan will take advantage of delayed expectations to draw you away from your walk.

This is when many Christians begin coming up with all sorts of ideas in a bid to soothe their desires. They will attempt all sorts of things including changing locations, being offended in the house of God, even changing congregations not knowing it's the Lord who plants you in a congregation and so on.

The long watered down way of honour in the kingdom in many ways is the answer. The kingdom of God operates in hierarchy and ranking. It's the unschooled men in the spirit that do not realise this truth.

They believe, we are all the same. One will have a dream here and there and think himself to be spiritual or a Prophet.

There are men who you walk with in this life like Abraham and you are blessed. In fact you can even be blessed to his level and think you are the same. Lot got so blessed that he even had more things than Abraham and he thought to himself I don't need Abraham anymore let me go to a better country, little did he know the source of his substance.

Friends, Jesus said, I am the tree and ye are the branches, remember? Without me you can do nothing. Weren't there people in his day who seemed to be doing something? Of course they were, but were they in him? Of course not.

One time I met a lady now gone from our ministry who was going through something and immediately my eyes were open to deal with it and she turned and addressed me as Pastor and that was it. In her eyes I didn't have the solution for her problem but I actually had it.

To honour is not lip service.

Isaiah 29:13 [KJV] Wherefore the Lord said, For as much as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

There in lies our solution. It has to be something extraordinary.

It's not time to nod your head in awe of great anointing. It's often about digging deep financially in response to the unction of destiny upon a man of God with whom you are assigned to walk with for your own good.

1 Corinthians 9:11 [KJV] If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
